Sonics fans... UNITE! But get off our backs...

Attention Seattle Sonics fans:

Believe it or not, the people in Oklahoma are THRILLED to have the team that it seems you gave up on.  Bottom 8 in the NBA in attendance for something like 5 years in a row is awful, considering that Seattle has such  good sports fans.  This message is directly for you fans...

You can be pissed at Clay Bennett, or the other owners, or the owners that sold the team to the new owners... but please quit with talking bad about Oklahoma/ Oklahomans.  Most of us were appalled at what Clay Bennett did to your team and your city by ripping the franchise and moving it.  But we were ready for a team, and can't really be held responsible for what transpired.  We should have been given an expansion team, and then you would probably still have the Sonics in a half-filled Key Arena every night.

We supported the Hornets when Katrina moved them to OKC, and supported them well.  Most of us wanted that team to stay.  But that didn't happen so now we will support this team, no matter how silly the nickname is...
